SEED has been actively involved in women empowerment initiatives that promote skill development, social awareness, protection, and gender equality. Our programs aim to create safe spaces, leadership opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods for women.

Women Empowerment Programs

Anganwadi Worker Training Centre

2002 – 2016

Capacity-building and training programs for Anganwadi workers to improve child care, nutrition, and community engagement.

Female Sex Workers Project

2007 – 2016

Focused on health awareness, rehabilitation, and social integration of female sex workers.

Training of Resource Groups (TRG)

2014 – 2015

Conducted awareness and leadership training for organizers under the Awareness Generation Project.

Extension TRGS Centre & TOT on Gender Responsive Governance

2017 – 2018

Promoted gender-sensitive governance and leadership through Training of Trainers (TOT) programs.

Shakti Sadan Project

2009 – Present

Provides shelter, rehabilitation, and protection services for women in distress.

Family Counseling Center

2013 – Present

Offers counseling, legal guidance, and emotional support to women and families facing domestic challenges.
