Our Commitment to Education

SEED has been actively working in the education sector since 2002, focusing on child rights, access to education, rehabilitation of vulnerable children, and social justice. Our programs aim to eliminate child labour, stop child marriages, and ensure equal educational opportunities irrespective of community or background.

Education Initiatives Over the Years

National Child Labour Project (NCLP)

2002 – 2010

A flagship education program aimed at rehabilitating child labourers by mainstreaming them into formal education and providing bridge schooling.

Street Children Project

2002 – 2011

Focused on the education, protection, and rehabilitation of street children, ensuring access to schooling and basic rights.

Rajiv Gandhi National Crèche Fund Scheme

Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi 2007 – 2017

Provided early childhood care and education services to children from disadvantaged families, supporting working mothers.

Residential Bridge Course – Nakkapalli

2008 – 2012

Residential education program to bridge learning gaps and enable dropout children to re-enter formal education systems.

Childline 1098

Child India Foundation 2007 – 2013

Emergency outreach service for children in distress, providing rescue, counseling, education support, and rehabilitation.

Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation 2003 – Present

An ongoing initiative focused on preventing child marriages, promoting equal education for all communities, and ensuring access to justice and child protection systems.
